The 5 Element Design in 2 Groups is achieved by using high quality FPL-53 Glass that reduces secondary spectrum to an unprecedented degree while the second group ED element, otherwise know as the flat field corrector, delivers superb edge of field results. Astrophotographers love this approach because imaging through this scope is truly stunning.
At F/6.9 this scope is great for Astro Photography and Visual Astronomy.
